Mr. Richard Wong is a partner at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP and is the chair of Osler’s construction and infrastructure practice group. His practice specializes in the development of energy projects in Canada, major infrastructure works, and commercial and industrial construction projects, and was noted in the Globe and Mail’s Report on Business Magazine (October, 2013) as a leading energy lawyer. He advises clients on the “front-end” of all aspects of project structuring and development, including joint venturing and consortiums, risk allocation and management, procurement and tendering, construction contracts, performance guarantees and bonds, and operation and maintenance issues. Mr. Wong is a frequent speaker on procurement, construction, and energy matters and also is an evaluator of professional practice exams for Professional Engineers Ontario.

Mr. Wong is involved with the Korean Canadian Lawyers Association, where he is a member and was a former executive member.

Mr. Wong received both his J.D. and B.A from the University of Toronto.

Ms. Evelyn Li is a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP and her practice focuses on special situations, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, and general corporate and commercial matters. She has acted for public and private companies in public offerings, private placement financings, purchase and sale transactions (including by way of a take-over bid and plan of arrangement) and corporate reorganizations. Ms. Li also regularly advises both junior and senior issuers in corporate governance and ongoing compliance matters, including working with special committees on proxy contests. Her experience includes working with clients in a wide range of industries, including the financial services, mining and resources and telecommunications industries. 

Ms. Li received her LL.B. from Queen's University in 2005 and her B.Com. from the University of British Columbia in 1999.

Ms. Susan Pak is the Director of Student Programs and Human Resources at Stikeman Elliott LLP in Toronto. She is responsible for all aspects of the student program, including the recruitment, development, performance management and education of summer and articling students. Ms. Pak is a member of several firm committees including the Students Committee, the Diversity Committee and the Sub-Committee on Women's Initiatives. Previous to Stikeman, Ms. Pak was a partner at a major Canadian law firm where her practice focused on securities, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law. Prior to her legal career, Ms. Pak practised as a licensed pharmacist.

Ms. Pak received her LL.B from Queen's University in 2004 and her B.Sc. Pharmacy from the University of Toronto in 1998.

Mr. Jim Hong is a partner at Torys LLP and practises corporate, commercial and securities law with a focus on public and private managed products, structured asset-backed financings, securitizations and derivatives. He is recognized as a leading practitioner in banking and finance. Mr. Hong is a co-author of the Canada Chapter of The International Comparative Legal Guide to Securitisation, published by Global Legal Group, London. Before he joined Torys, Mr. Hong practised in the international securitization group of a major U.K. law firm based in London, where he advised on debt refinancing, RMBS and CDO transactions. 

Mr. Hong is an adjunct professor of law at Osgoode Hall Law School where he teaches commercial law.

Mr. Wong received both his LL.B in 1999 and his B.Com. in 1996 (Gold Medalist—University College) from the University of Toronto.

Mr. Brendan Wong is a partner in Commercial Litigation and Competition and Marketing Law Groups at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. Mr. Wong's commercial litigation practice includes a focus on shareholder and partnership litigation, banking litigation (including insolvency litigation), fraud and injunction litigation, and competition law. Mr. Wong has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, Ontario Divisional Court, Superior Court of Justice, Federal Court (Trial Division), Federal Court of Appeal and the Barbados Supreme Court. In addition to English, Brendan speaks conversational French.

Mr. Wong received his LL.M (Commercial Law) from the University of Cambridge (Sidney Sussex College) in 2010, his LL.B from Dalhousie University (Schulich School of Law) in 2004 and his B.Sc. in Environmental Science from McGill University in 2001.

Mr. Wong is the current President of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
